Water Pipe Leaks

Obvious leaks in your plumbing make a visual impact to walls and ceilings, but pinhole leaks in copper piping are so tiny that the leak can go undetected for months, even years.  The longer a leak goes on, the more damage it can cause to your home.  Maeser plumbing technicians can make fast repairs and offer solutions on eliminating future pinhole leak problems.

Leaking Faucets and Shower Heads

Just one leaking faucet in your home can waste over 2,000 gallons of water per year... That's a month worth of showers! Maeser can repair all kinds of faucet and shower leaks, including ball, disk, cartridge and compression style faucets.

Leaking Toilets

Repairing a leaking toilet can save up to 5,200 gallons per year.  We can repair any brand of toilet including Gerber, Mansfield, American Standard, Kohler, and Toto.  Our professional plumbing technicians can offer you repair and replacement options including water saving solutions.

What to do when you have a water leak

There are a few tips that you can follow to help prevent costly damage to your home until Maeser arrives to permanently fix the leaking pipe.

First, locate your main water valve and turn off the flow of water. The main water valve is often located near the meter where your water line enters the home, and can be inside or outside the house, in the basement or crawl space.

Next, inspect the leaking pipe and note the material of the pipe. Is it copper or PVC?  Note the diameter of the pipe and whether the pipe and/or fitting is leaking. Your Maeser service specialist can use this information to help quickly repair your leak.

Remember, never try to perform major repairs or replacements yourself if you aren’t experienced in plumbing line repair, as even small mistakes can lead to costly damage to your home.

Home Gas Leaks

Natural gas and propane are very dangerous substances that should not be worked with unless you are a trained professional, no matter how small the repair.

If you suspect there is a gas leak in your home, evacuate your family immediately and call your gas company for assistance.
