The homeowners had a bathroom subfloor that was not secured to the floor joists, along with a tile floor which had been improperly installed. This led to the tiles of the floor breaking and popping up. The homeowners also needed to enhance the accessibility of the shower to support their aging-in-place whole home solution.
Maeser added extra support to the subfloor. We enlarged the shower, installing a custom floor with solid acrylic wall panels with a 3inx8in high gloss subway pattern. We installed custom cabinetry and a quartz countertop for the double bowl sinks. Finally, we installed a custom makeup station with lighting and tiled the bathroom floor.
